I’m on line at the Bayville pharmacy to pick up my prescription. In front of me is an attractive mother with a presciption for Tussi Organadin. Someone at home has a cough. Maybe bronchitis. She has two children with her. A boy, 6. A girl, 4. They both are wearing colorful quilted ski jackets with lift tickets still attached.

Anyway, 22 was an amazing birthday. Drank. Bced. And I didn’t throw up. Surrounded by many friends who also had a great time. Three days later and my body still hasn’t recovered. My neck and inner thighs ache from all the hip-swiveling grind.
