Lately I’ve been getting quite a few emails from best friends, and more often than that, BOYfriends, asking me how it might be possible to get autographed copies of my books for the special person in their lives. I am more than happy to help out, especially in the case of the BOYfriends whose emails tend to be slightly embarrassed and totally adorable.
Far be it from me to stand in the way of romance or best friendship. But you can certainly understand why I can’t personally sign and send out autographed copies to everyone who requests one. Fortunately, there are two options:
1. Order directly through Random House
2. Or contact Bill Graff at the UCLA Bookzone. When I was in LA a few weeks ago, I signed a lot of stock. If there are any autographed copies left, you can arrange to get your own.
(I realize it’s highly unlikely that many boyfriends read the (retro)blog. Which is why you need to persuade your best friend to refer the boyfriend to the (retro)blog as a huge hint-hint. He’ll be grateful. Really. He needs gift ideas. And how can you thank your best friend? By giving her very own autographed copy! See? I’m solving all your holiday gift-giving-and-getting problems…)
