D.D.
T.J. and I both have colds so we’re both snorting and wheezing. Beth just looks at us and starts to laugh. I’m bored. I’m practically the only person done with all my work so I’m stuck writing in this journal. Usually it’s not bad but it’s just that I don’t have anything to write about.
Okay. I’ll make something up.
Well, yesterday TJ, Molly, Demi and I went shopping in all the boutiques in Beverly Hills. I got a darling suede jacket and a diamond and emerald necklace and a new designer gown to wear to Tom’s (Cruise) movie premiere. I don’t even remember much about the movie, but that’s never what matters at these things anyway. Later that night I flew on my private jet back to condo in New York City to get ready for my date with Emilio (no last name required). While I was getting ready, I got 6 dozen roses and an apology from Emilio. He couldn’t make it because he was tied up filming his latest movie. Really bummed out, I called up Michael J. He asked me to go to Paris with him for the weekend. Well, I was just there last week so I said no thanks. So he asked me if I wanted to go to the Hard Rock Café in London. Well, I haven’t been there in two weeks so I said sure. I got dressed in my designer original by Ralph Lauren and jumped in my Lambourghini, all ready to go to my plane. And you know what? It had dust on the windshield so I had to take the Alpha Romeo instead. Bummer.
So I went to the airport and waited for Mike. He didn’t show up! (That bum, he left a message saying his Canadian granny was dying. What an excuse!) But guess who did show up? Emilio’s brother, Charlie. He apologized for his brother’s behavior and asked me if I wanted to go to his place for cocktails. So I said yes, and we spent the night talking, laughing, drinking champagne and… Well…a true lady never tells…
So what began as the worst day of my life turned out to be perfect.
Toodles!
