a) enjoyed this view from my lounge chair
b) met fascinating people who love books as much as I do
c) won the Jolly Beach Resort’s weekly karaoke competition with my empassioned and spontaneously unchoreographed song-and-dance to “Flashdance…What a Feeling”

My mom was so proud.
